# Quest Booking — Full Reference > Booking software for tour and adventure experience operators. Quest Booking runs real-time availability, payments, digital waivers, customer communications, and weather-day recovery on each operator's own branded site, with payouts direct to the operator's Stripe account and no per-booking fees. Canonical URL: https://questbooking.app Condensed index: https://questbooking.app/llms.txt AI usage policy: https://questbooking.app/ai.txt ## What Quest Booking is Quest Booking is a multi-tenant booking platform for experience operators — paragliding, tours, and other adventure activities. The platform apex (https://questbooking.app) hosts the marketing site and operator console. Each operator gets a branded booking site on their own subdomain (for example https://wildsky.questbooking.app, run by Wild Sky Paragliding) or on a custom domain, themed to their colours and logo end to end. Positioning: "Your booking engine. Not theirs." Quest Booking is built for operators tired of paying a tax on every booking. There are no per-booking fees, no long-term contract, and operators are onboarded personally rather than through self-serve signup. ## Features ### Real-time availability Concurrency-safe slot holds that can't oversell, party-size-aware availability grids, and honest "only 2 left" scarcity indicators. ### Weather-day recovery When conditions turn, the operator flips the affected slots to a weather hold and the platform does the rest in one transaction: every booked guest is notified the moment the call is made, open-dated credits are issued automatically, guests self-rebook from a link (no accounts, no phone tag), and the waitlist is backfilled into the freed seats. The 2–3 hours a weather event used to eat is handled in about a minute. ### Payouts to the operator's own Stripe Operators connect their Stripe account in a click; money lands in their bank. Deposits, Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported, and there is no per-booking fee. The operator holds the customer relationship. ### Mobile-first manifest Run the day from the mountainside: big check-in buttons, passenger weights, payment and waiver status at a glance. ### In-house digital waivers Signatures are tied to each passenger, stored and versioned. Unsigned waivers flag as a blocking state on the manifest. ### Vouchers, promos & add-ons Operators can sell gift cards, run discount codes, and upsell extras — all redeemed safely at checkout. Guests can gift a flight from the operator's booking site. ### Communications that run themselves Confirmations with calendar invites, 48-hour reminders, same-day weather calls, abandoned-cart recovery, and post-experience review requests. ### Embed or go headless Operators can drop the lightweight booking widget into their current site (it loads instantly and never blocks the page), or build their own front end on the public API and webhooks. ### Your brand, your domain A booking site on the operator's own subdomain or custom domain, themed end to end. ## The guest booking flow Guests book in three taps: pick an experience, pick a date and time, pay. Pricing is all-in at checkout with no booking fees. Confirmations include calendar invites, and every booking gets a self-service management link for rescheduling or cancelling up to the operator's cutoff. ## How operators get started 1. **Request access** — the operator describes what they run via the form at https://questbooking.app/#request. No credit card, no setup wizard. 2. **The site goes live** — Quest Booking stands up the branded booking site on the operator's subdomain, with experiences and schedule loaded. 3. **Take bookings** — guests book in three taps; the platform handles payments, confirmations, waivers, and weather days. ## Pricing A flat platform fee tailored to the operator's volume — no per-booking surcharge skimming every ticket, and no long-term contract. Quotes via https://questbooking.app/#request. ## Privacy Policy (summary — full text at https://questbooking.app/privacy) - Collected at booking: name, email, phone, passenger details (including weights where relevant to the activity), booking and payment history. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on Quest Booking's servers. - Used to confirm and manage bookings, send booking-related messages (confirmations, reminders, weather updates), collect payment, and meet legal and safety obligations. A post-experience review request may be sent. Personal information is never sold. - Shared only with the operator the guest booked with and the service providers that run the platform (payment processing via Stripe, email/SMS delivery, cloud hosting), only as needed to deliver the service. - Guests can request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information, subject to legally required records: privacy@questbooking.app. - Booking records are kept as long as needed for the service and tax/accounting/legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized. ## Terms of Service (summary — full text at https://questbooking.app/terms) - A booking is confirmed once accepted and any required payment or deposit is received. Prices are shown all-in at checkout; where a deposit is taken, the balance is due before the experience as described at booking time. - Experiences may carry inherent risks and physical requirements. Guests are responsible for accurate passenger information (including weight or health requirements) and for signing required waivers. The operator may refuse participation on safety grounds. - Weather can require rescheduling or cancellation, handled per the refunds policy. Voluntary changes are subject to the cutoffs shown at booking. ## Refunds & Cancellations (summary — full text at https://questbooking.app/refunds) - **Weather or safety cancellation by the operator:** free reschedule to any available date, an open-dated credit, or a full refund — guest's choice, no fees. - **Guest-initiated changes:** reschedule or cancel from the booking management link up to the cutoff shown at booking. Before the cutoff, refunds follow the operator's policy; after it, the booking may be non-refundable because the slot is held. - **Refund timing:** approved refunds return to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. - **No-shows:** treated as a late cancellation, generally non-refundable. ## For developers - Embeddable booking widget: served from the platform, drops into any existing website. - Public API: availability and bookings endpoints under /api/v1 on the operator's booking host, plus webhooks for booking events. API access is provisioned per operator — contact hello@questbooking.app. - Calendar feeds: booking confirmations include calendar (ICS) invites. ## Machine-readable files - https://questbooking.app/llms.txt — condensed index of this document - https://questbooking.app/llms-full.txt — this document - https://questbooking.app/ai.txt — AI/crawler usage policy - https://questbooking.app/sitemap.xml — indexable pages - https://questbooking.app/robots.txt — crawl rules ## Contact - General & sales: hello@questbooking.app - Privacy requests: privacy@questbooking.app - Operator login: https://questbooking.app/admin
